Fixing broken lines (aib-e-taqti)

Level 4: Composition and Refinement · about 15 minutes

When a line breaks, find the first syllable where it leaves the metre, then decide: reorder, swap a word for a synonym or short form, or add or remove a small word. The Taqti Lab shows the break point and offers only repairs that scan.

This misra should be in Hazaj musamman sālim (mafā'īlun mafā'īlun mafā'īlun mafā'īlun) but one word was changed and it broke. Edit it until the engine accepts it.

Break (kast-e-bahr) at “tamannaa”, syllable “ta”: the metre needs a long (=) here but this syllable is short (-).
