• یوں ہی گر روتا رہا غالبؔ تو اے اہلِ جہاںIf Ghalib goes on weeping like this, O people of the world,
• دیوانگی سے دوش پہ زنار بھی نہیںIn my madness I have not even a sacred thread on my shoulder;
