From the crowd of grief my head is bent so lowthat it is hard to tell the thread of my hem from the thread of my gaze.

• درد سے میرے ہے تجھ کو بے قراری ہائے ہائےMy pain makes you restless; alas, alas!
• عشق نے پکڑا نہ تھا غالبؔ ابھی وحشت کا رنگLove had not yet taken on the colour of madness, Ghalib;
