أبيات أخرى لـميرزا أسد الله خان غالب

• میں نے مانا کہ کچھ نہیں غالبؔI grant that Ghalib is nothing;
• پھر کچھ اس دل کو بیقراری ہےOnce more this heart is somewhat restless;
• بے خودی بے سبب نہیں غالبؔThis self-forgetting is not without a cause, Ghalib;
• نہ ہوئی گر مرے مرنے سے تسلی، نہ سہیIf my dying did not satisfy you, so be it;
• عشرتِ صحبتِ خوباں ہی غنیمت سمجھوCount the pleasure of the company of beauties a blessing;
• ہر ایک بات پہ کہتے ہو تم کہ ’تو کیا ہے‘At every word you say to me, "And who are you?"
