saaya meraa mujh se misl-e-duud bhaage hai 'asad'paas mujh aatish-ba-jaañ ke kis se Thahraa jaa.e hai

My own shadow runs from me like smoke, Asad;who can stay near me, whose very soul is on fire?

العربية

ظلّي يفرّ منّي كالدخان يا أسد؛فمن ذا الذي يبقى بقربي وروحي مشتعلة؟

中文

阿萨德啊，我的影子像烟一样逃离我；谁能待在我这灵魂着火的人身边？

Ma propre ombre me fuit comme la fumée, Asad ;qui peut rester près de moi, dont l'âme même est en feu ?
