Commentary (sharh)

Zulf sar honaa means the beloved's tangled tresses being subdued, that is, the beloved being won. A lover's sigh works slowly, and life is too short to wait for it. The radif hone tak (until it happens) carries the whole ghazal's theme of waiting.
