Yusuf Khan Kambalposh's account of his journey from Lucknow to England and back in 1837-38, often named as one of the first travel books in Urdu: the voyage round the Cape, months of sightseeing in London, a visit to France, the voyage home through the Mediterranean to Egypt and Mount Sinai, and a long ride across India from Bombay to Calcutta and Lucknow.
