In this lesson you will
- I can say what I can and cannot do, and ask permission: کیا میں اندر آ سکتا ہوں؟
- I can say what is forbidden: یہاں سگریٹ پینا منع ہے.
- I can say that someone lets me do something: ابو مجھے دیر تک باہر رہنے دیتے ہیں.
- I can give advice with چاہیے, and say “should have” with چاہیے تھا.
- I can say what I have to do (ہے) and what I am forced to do (پڑتا ہے).
- I can make offers and suggestions with the subjunctive: چائے بناؤں؟ چلیں؟
- I can give step-by-step instructions and use compound verbs with دینا and لینا.
