Shaikh Qalandar Bakhsh Jurat

Eighty ghazals by Shaikh Qalandar Bakhsh Jurat (d. 1810), the poet of Mir's generation: all his poems on Urdu Wikisource. Ghazals of love as it is lived, of meetings, quarrels, messages and making up, many built from the lovers' own talk, with wordplay on his pen name ("courage"), a garden in the rains, and his challenge to those who think the ghazal ended with Mir. Urdu text with a new, line-by-line English translation, notes, an introduction and a glossary.
